Coir Pith Blocks

Our certified organic premium coir pith blocks are most commonly used as potting mix. Many growers mix them with other media such as peat moss, perlite and vermiculite to get the right soil ratio for their plants. Made from coconut husk particles with a balanced pH and low salt content, coir pith makes an ideal growing medium.

The blocks come compressed in 11 lb and 55 lb bales for convenient storage and shipping. Add water slowly and the bales hydrate and expand. Once fluffed, the media absorbs and retains moisture for long periods, saving both time and cost. Coir pith is also known as coco peat, coco coir or simply coco.
